1. How can we be happy even within the material world?
2. How do we serve the pure devotee?
3. What is Principle 1? What is my justification?
4. Is Srila Prabhupada’s personal association still available to us?
5. What does Srila Prabhupada say is his mission?
6. Can we just chant japa and kirtan without reading Srila Prabhupada’s books? Why?
7. What is the primary reason Srila Prabhupada wrote his books?
8. Do you think that by stressing the importance of hearing from Srila Prabhupada, I am
encouraging devotees to jump over the heads of their own gurus?
9. Does the fact that a person is approved by the GBC to be an ISKCON guru guarantee
they are an appropriate person for us to take initiation from?
10. What is the qualification for finding my spiritual master? Refer to SP’s lecture in New

11. How can we attain this qualification?
12. Can I disagree with a senior devotee at the stage of sadhu sanga?
13. Some devotees disagree with the emphasis on hearing from Srila Prabhupada. They
argue that the scriptures say we have to hear from a ‘living bhagavata’. They say this
means we have to hear from a guru who is alive, and that hearing from Srila
Prabhupada will not help us go back home to Godhead because he is no longer alive.
